Its 11:30.You’restill alive (Laughter).Don’t think this is a joke.What is ticking off here isnot the clock, it’s your life.It is not the clock ticking away (Applause).It isyour life ticking away.And it is twelve o’clock, you’re still alive.You mustpromise me this, every time you check time, you must give yourself a smile ifyou are still alive.If you are dead, you are pardoned (Applause).But so manypeople are walking on the street as if they are practicing their posture fortheir grave (Laughter).Don’t worry it’ll come naturally, please (Laughter).

It will make youfearful.If you live with it every moment, it will make you absolutely exuberantand alive.Because it is just this one thing, that this is not forever.This isjust for a brief period of time.And the more joyful you are, briefer itbecomes.If you are ecstatic, it’ll just vanish in no time. (Laughs)Yes.So ifyou want to stretch it, you need to make yourself truly miserable.Otherwise itwill be just gone in no time.If you come to terms with this,if you live thisway that every moment you appreciate one thing and only one thing because themost important thing in your life is you’re alive right now, to be alive, fullyalive,one hundred percent alive is the mostimportant thing,because only if something is hundred percent alive can you makeit yield something beautiful.

See you have a little plant in your houseor let’s say a mango tree in your house,it is like this, (Gestures) which isjust imitating you (Laughter).Can you make it come out with lot of sweetness?No.It’salive in a big way,now you can expect sweetness from that.Nobody has to teachthe mango tree which is alive, please give sweetness.Anyway it will pour out,isn't it?Miserable people have to be taught, “Please be loving, please be niceto people,gentle to people, do this, do that.”All these things necessarybecause in some way you’ve become half a life.If you were exuberantly alive,itis natural for human consciousness to bleed sweetness every moment of yourlife.

We don’t know what great things you will door not.We don’t know whether you’ll climb Mount Everest or not.We don’t knowwhether you will run faster than Mr. Bolt or not.We don’t know whether you willbecome the richest man or woman in the world or not.But this one thing you mustdo to yourself, this one thing you deserve,this one thing is one-hundredpercent in your hands, that you can live here as a joyful human being.This muchis possible for every one of us (Applause).Our ability to fix the world aroundus – subject to various realities.Some things work, some things don’t workbecause this involves too many forces.Sometimes it falls into place, sometimesit doesn’t.But in our lives, will we do everything that we can do or not isdetermined by this, that only if you’re joyful by your own nature, that is, youhave no fear of suffering,only when you have no fear of suffering, will youdare to walk your life full stride.Everything that you can do, you will do.Inour lives, if we do not do what we cannot do, this is not an issue.But if we donot do what we can do, we are a disastrous life.It's my wish and my blessing (Applause)that you should not become such a disaster.Everything that you can do musthappen in this life.If that has to happen,the fundamental ambiance that isneeded is that you are a joyful human being by your own nature.What's the time(Laughter)?Still on, hmm (Laughs)?Let's do it!Thank you, thank you (Laughs)(Applause).

我们不知道你会不会有什么丰功伟绩，我们不知道你是否会登上珠穆朗玛峰，我们不知道你是否会跑得比博尔特快，我们不知道你是否会成为世界首富，但这一件事你必须对自己做到，这一件事你值得拥有。这一件事100%在你的掌控之中，那就是：你可以作为一个喜悦的人活着。这对我们每一个人都是可能的，我们打理周边世界的能力受到各种现实的限制，有些事可行，有些事不可行，因为这涉及到太多的力量，事情有时顺利，有时不顺利。但在我们的生命中，我们是否去做自己能做到的一切，则取决于这一点。只有当你因本性而喜悦时，也就是当你无惧痛苦时。只有当你无惧痛苦时，你才敢于大步向前，你能做的一切，你都会去做。在我们的生命中，如果我们不做那些我们做不了的，那不是问题。但如果我们不去做那些我们能做到的，我们的生命就会是一场灾难，你们不应该变成那样的灾难。所有你能做的必须发生在此生，要做到这一点，所需的基本氛围就是：你是个因本性而喜悦的人。现在几点啦？还活着，嗯。让我们这样去做吧！谢谢，谢谢。
