Life is never changed by vows, life is changed by awareness. Never take a vow; the vow simply means that you are forcing something upon yourself. Try to understand.

生命永远不会通过誓言而改变，生命是通过觉知改变的。永远不要发誓，发誓说明你正强迫自己做某事。试着了解这一点。

When there is understanding there is no need to take a vow; your understanding is enough. You see something is wrong and it drops.

当你了解了，就没必要发誓；你的了解足矣。你看到有些事情是错的，它自己放下了。

Seeing is enough, understanding is enough; no other discipline is needed. Whenever you need some other discipline it means your understanding is lacking, something is missing in your understanding.

看到足矣，了解足矣；不需要别的戒律。每当你需要别的戒律，那说明你缺乏了解，你的了解缺少了某些东西。
